I’d had a difficult time for quite a few years which ended up with a short period in prison. I knew I would be homeless when I came out, but I didn’t get any help. The screws were all too busy dealing with the day to day business of the prison to help with accommodation. So, on release I spent 17 weeks on the street. At this time, I had no income. House of Lords Visit
Opportunity Nottingham Beneficiary Ambassador Rob Eagle, along with some of our Expert Citizens recently contributed to a report titled People Powered Recovery. A Different Approach
Jill* has been engaging with Opportunity Nottingham since 2014. Whilst this engagement has been important in developing trust with a service, and also developing a meaningful relationship with her Personal Development Coordinator, she has not progressed in relation to the issues stemming from her multiple needs.
