2017 Annual Event
Thank you to everyone who attended this event. We will circulate event slides in early November.
On Friday 20th October 2017, we will be hosting our annual project event at Nottingham Conference Centre (NG1 4BU). Following on from our Opportunity Nottingham – Two Years On Learning Event (see video below), this event will offer those working within the context of multiple and complex needs key insights for the future.
Titled Changing the System. Challenging Stigma, we will be considering the MCN landscape within the context of Nottingham City predominantly, but reference will be made to the current national picture.
The agenda will include:
An Opportunity Nottingham Project Update
A System Change Partnership Panel (presentations and a Q&A session with key Nottingham City Partners and a National Body)
An update on the Practice Development Unit (a key piece of work in Nottingham City that will promote innovative and improved working practices)
A break-out session considering the Facts About me Sheet (a piece of work created by Opportunity Nottingham Expert Citizens which encourages frontline workers to focus on more than just the complex needs of a service-user).
The two core themes underpinning the event will be System Change (including examples of changes made and the resulting benefits), and the issue of Stigma (predominantly from the viewpoint of our Expert Citizens).
The event will commence at 10am. Refreshments will be available from 9.30am. The agenda will close at 1pm, and will be followed by a free hot buffet and the opportunity to network with other attendees.
