A Midway-point Project Report

A Midway-point Project Report

Opportunity Nottingham is funded until June 2022. Now four years in to project delivery, there are extensive learnings and insights available regarding both what works and what doesn't; within a very complicated system.

The midway report titled Multiple needs: meeting the challenge can be downloaded in full on the link at the bottom of this page, or read via the project findings page. It is split into three sections; The Beneficiary challenge, The system challenge, and The legacy challenge.

The Beneficiary challenge considers the importance of the Personal Development Coordinator role (notably the wrap-around approach), cost savings, and opportunities for Beneficiaries, such as peer mentoring.

The system challenge explores each multiple and complex need in relation to Beneficiary experiences of the system, and also refers to the Opportunity Nottingham system change challenge - a call out to organisations working with people facing complex needs in Nottingham City to help change the system via five key challenges.

The legacy challenge considers the lasting impact of the project once it ceases to run in June 2022, and asks important questions about successor support.
