Annual Event 2018

Annual Event 2018

Our 2018 Annual Event took place on Thursday 15th November. Further information can be found here.

Some of the presentations from the event are downloadable on the links below.

The film at the bottom of this page is the West Yorkshire - Finding Independence (WY-FI) presentation which considers peer mentoring. Fulfilling Lives Islington and Camden (FLIC) also presented on the day, exploring the idea of trust between a mentee and a frontline worker vs. a Peer Mentor. It was clear that trust can be more easily developed with a Peer Mentor, who is often not viewed in the same way as a 'professional', and can also offer genuine understanding through their own experiences. Peer Mentoring will play a key part in the remaining four years of delivery for Opportunity Nottingham.

If you require more information, or further context to any of the presentations, please email in the first instance.

We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the delivery of the event, and also to those who took part in the opening film about mental health services in Nottingham.
