The Practice Development Unit (PDU) offers a unique opportunity for professionals from all sectors in Nottingham and neighbouring areas, who work with people facing multiple disadvantage, to connect, learn collaboratively and share good practice and expertise.

It hosts an online hub with a variety of resources including academic papers, multimedia toolkits and reports; all of which reflect the latest local and national research and information on practice within the field of multiple disadvantage.

The PDU also offers a variety of standalone learning events, such as workshops, seminars and presentations, and can also facilitate Communities of Practice (CoP).

The platform is participant led, and professionals are encouraged to get involved in shaping and delivering peer learning events. You can contact the PDU or submit potential content for the platform by emailing enquiries@nottinghampdu.org.
